NBA scores: Suns fall to Pacers as rest of division wins

The Suns continue to struggle, and they lost ground to everyone this week.

The Phoenix Suns dropped their fourth straight game in a 97-91 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. The Suns could not overcome a 14-point halftime deficit. George Hill led all scorers with 22 points for Indiana. Sebastian Telfair paced Phoenix with 19 points on 8-of-20 shooting.

While the Suns were losing, the rest of the Pacific Division was winning. The Clippers extended their winning streak to 17 with a 116-114 victory over the Jazz in Salt Lake City. Los Angeles grabbed the league's best record with the win, as Chris Paul tallied 29 points and six assists.

The Lakers got back to .500 by beating the Blazers, 104-87, on Friday. The stars were out for the Lakers, as Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 27, Dwight Howard grabbed 14 rebounds and Steve Nash dished out 10 assists.

The Northern California teams had success this week as well. The Warriors continued their strong start against the Sixers, winning 96-89. Sacramento upset one of the East's top teams by taking down the Knicks, 106-105, at home.
